DPT Clinical Rotations
Our DPT rotations are designed as an advanced, residency-inspired sports clinical experience. Students work directly with our team in an athlete-focused environment with structured learning, mentorship, and exposure to the full return-to-sport process.
Best fit: Final-rotation students, or well-qualified second-to-last rotation students, who arrive with a solid clinical foundation.
- Structured learning curriculum organized by body region
- Weekly mentorship, feedback, and sports clinical reasoning
- Exposure to sports rehab, manual therapy, return-to-sport testing, and performance integration
- Potential sideline coverage, combine assistance, training-room experiences, and clinic projects
2027+ application materials: resume with references, brief letter of intent, and one recommendation from a faculty member or clinical instructor who can speak to your preparedness for an advanced sports rotation.
Athletic Training Student Experiences
We welcome athletic training students for experiences that bridge the training room and sports PT clinic. Experiences can be coordinated around your program requirements and may include clinical observation, return-to-play testing, and event-based sports medicine exposure.
- Clinical hours coordinated with your program when applicable
- Observation across a range of sports PT cases
- Exposure to return-to-play evaluation and testing
- Learning curriculum and event opportunities when available
Undergraduate Internships
Our undergraduate internship is designed for students interested in physical therapy or another sports medicine profession. Interns gain immersive exposure to the sports PT environment while taking ownership of a meaningful project that supports both their professional growth and the clinic.

Shadowing & Observation
Shadowing is a flexible way to observe our team, ask questions, and get a feel for careers in sports physical therapy and sports medicine. We welcome undergraduate students, prospective PT and athletic training students, and others exploring the field.
